February 26, 1981 ~ September 23, 2007I just got word tonight that this lovely girl returned to her spirit's home on Sunday morning. She was involved in a single car crash. The driver died also.
Katrina is the daughter of one of my best friends. Losing a child has to be an almost unbearable pain. I know my dear friend has a vast well of inner strength and she will find peace in some future time but not today. Today her heart is broken.
Katrina has a sweet little boy who is only about 7 years old. Thankfully, he's got the support of a tremendously close family who'll raise him with love and the memories of better times. I know this family believes she is now free and has no pain but the grief still comes. So please.....
If you are reading this, be so kind to send a peaceful thought to her family. Even the smallest prayer can be felt. Peace, love, and light to all who've visited here today.
How terrible. Very sad indeed.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture and girl. You've done her memory justice. We all feel so terrible and pray and hope that her mom, Jacqueline, her little sister, Rachael, and her entire family finds the strength they need to overcome this tragedy. She is at peace. Our loving prayers go out to her family .... Jim, Lauri, Melissa & Kayla
ReplyDeleteYes, hammer, it is. She had some difficulties in her life for a time but had taken on a new way of seeing things. Maybe that really was just all she needed to do here tho... to rise above some stuff and then move on??
ReplyDeleteThank you Lauri! She had a neat personality. As you can see from the photo... a beautiful, exotic young lady, but interesting that for a time she worked in construction with her father. Can you imagine the heads turning as she walked by.
Maybe I'll see you at the memorial tomorrow. Love you! Mare xo
