which is annoying as it's 10am and empty and usually when i DO have listening equipment it's 10PM and EVERYONE's in and the poor broadband is having a breakdown!!

Hi Gledwood, When my 'puter is having a meltdown, I use the local library so probably about the same thing as your cybercafe... except, can you order food/drink in there?
ReplyDeleteOf course at the library you can't, and you can't chat too much either, so it's b o r i n g there.
The new year so far is okay... trying to get my son back on school schedule and have to take my car in for service, clean the house, etc.

ReplyDeleteIf not, it's mostly men, strumming banjos and other instruments while parading up the main street in town, wearing satin, silk, sequined costumes with tons of feathers and make up competing against other bands doing the same. Afterwards, they drink lots of beer and make plans for the following years music and costumes. It's quite a big deal around here...
but go to the web site highlighted and read the history of mummery. It's interesting.
